Okay, this is honestly my new favorite sweet treat!! It can be used when you want a healthy dessert, a post-workout smoothie, or a mid-day snack. Using all whole foods ingredients and pantry staples-nothing fancy! PS, use ceylon cinnamon if you have it to avoid a blood sugar spike.
Serves: 1
Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 banana
2 pitted dates
1 handful blueberries
2 heaping tablespoons of almond butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
pinch sea salt
1 scoop protein powder vanilla or unsweetened
Directions:
blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth
